In depth
Verdict
Squelch should make a bold bid for a hat-trick only 3lb higher than when scoring at Doncaster last time but Socially Shady is upped in class on the back of a victory at Ripon. FRENCH ASSET found one too good when sent off favourite at Windsor recently but the fitting of headgear should sharpen his concentration and Sir Michael Stoute’s colt can open his account. Al Khabeer can figure on his handicap debut having finished in front of Hatheem when runner-up at Beverley last month but the more-exposed Purdey's Gift looks no nearer winning.
