Verdict

A very poor quality stayers' event in which the veteran TUSCAN GOLD may be good enough. Micky Hammond's charge came here for a similar contest over 2m2f a couple of weeks ago and beat all bar Uncle Bernie with Madam Lillibet fifth, Gran Paradiso sixth and Riptide seventh. The latter's yard is represented by Dan Emmett but he's been badly out of form over jumps this winter and though Rock On Bollinski would have a chance if ready after a break he's shown his best form on ground with some give. La Fritillaire has won over 2m2f around here and won't mind the conditions so she could go well if ready after her break.
