Verdict
REINSTORM showed improved form throughout his first season and wouldn't need much more to make a successful reappearance from his lowly mark so gets the nod. Showdance Kid stayed on strongly to land a Catterick novices' event last summer and there should be plenty more to come from Karl Burke's charge, while Mick Easterby's horses have been flying and a 6lb rise for an impressive all-the-way victory at Redcar is unlikely to prevent another big run from Miss Sheridan. Ronnie The Rooster has been feeling the pinch from higher marks after completing a double at Newcastle and though Ray Donovan won a Musselburgh nursery in August he was beaten a long way in all other starts.
