Verdict
Musharrif, a previous course and distance winner, made all under Zak Wheatley in an apprentices’ race at Ripon last Sunday. He can race off the same mark here and should again beat fourth Dapper Man. Sheepscar Lad has slipped to a fair mark and, along with Van Gerwen and Socialites Red, has also won over track and trip. Computable could figure if fully wound-up but FOXY FOREVER has run well in two starts since returning to Turf and it would be no surprise to see the nine-year-old go close here. Thirsk third Gold Stone is speedy and could also play a part, though has a wide draw.
