      Verdict

      SAINT THOMAS has been brilliantly placed to win ten races including his last two at Class 6 level. He's only been raised 3lb for his latest success and has won from higher marks in the past. Love Marmalade, a new recruit for David O'Meara, hasn't won for well over two years and though slowly sliding down the weights hasn't really threatened in recent runs. Stoneboat Bill is held by the selection on latest Leicester running and has only won once in 18 starts while Bogardus has failed to take advantage of a drop in grade recently. Chant was returning from a long break when running well for a long way in a better race than this at York so expect a better performance but Fastnet Blast has only shown moderate form in maidens.
