      Verdict

      KHAIRAAT made a very encouraging debut at Salisbury when just run out of it by the favourite You're Hired and with that under his belt can go one better. Confident Kid attempted to make all on very heavy ground at Haydock but was caught in the closing stages and should do better on this ground. Russian Finale is a full sister to the useful miler Russian Realm and related to other winners so she is definitely one to keep on the right side.
