Verdict

ANNIE POWER should get back to winning ways after her brave effort behind More Of That in the World Hurdle at Cheltenham. It's probable she didn't last home over the trip that day and this distance will suit her much better. Previously unbeaten, she accounted for stablemate Glens Melody by 12 lengths at Fairyhouse last season but the latter must be a doubtful runner after finishing fourth over 3m here on Thursday. Florishwell's D'Ete also ran on Thursday while Scottish Champion Hurdle winner Cockney Sparrow was struggling in second when falling behind the selection at Doncaster in January. The others have a mountain to climb on these terms.
