In depth

Verdict

This is a very competitive race for the money with seven last-time-out winners in the line-up. They don't include Farceur Du Large, an easy winner at Downpatrick who has come up against stiff opposition in both subsequent starts. He'll make a bold bid despite a penalty while Isotope looked as though he wanted this sort of trip when staying on in a 2m novices' handicap at Gowran. Robinnia won a course and distance maiden before finding 2m too short at Tipperary while Jack Hackett won a novices' chase here in September. The progressive Gevrey steps up to the trip for the first time but GABBYS CROSS looked a much improved performer when scoring easily at Tramore and gets the nod in a tricky contest.
