This is much the stronger of the two divisions with several arriving in top form. Luis Van Zandt had over 4 lengths in hand of Comporta at Gowran but the winner should get much closer with an 8lb pull to aid his cause. Twilight Girl finished 3 lengths to the good over Comporta at Wexford though was receiving 7lb. DAWSON'S COTTAGE was having only his sixth start when landing a Kilbeggan handicap and was conceding 7lb to the in-form Imperial Choice when runner-up at Ballinrobe. Niall Madden's charge gets the nod with Simon Torrens good value for his claim though any money for Give Battle should be noted as he was in fine form last summer and has been racing on the Flat. Arthur's Baby came from a very long way back to go second over 3m at Wexford after scoring at Cork but has been put up 8lb.
