Verdict

Get My Drift attracted good support when tackling 2m3f in a beginners' chase at Kilbeggan where he stayed on to lead close home. He could find this on the short side and though Kildorrery has no problems with the trip he could do with some rain, a remark that also applies to Filon D'Oudairies. Vado Forte will find this more to his liking than the Grade 3 at Aintree where he never got involved but the vote goes to THE GREEK, who landed a novices' chase at Down Royal in March before finding a Grade B handicap here too hot a month later.
