Willie Mullins won this last year but Bless N'Ject has looked very moderate though he's probably been crying out for this longer trip. Hacketts Folly ran poorly in a Clonmel handicap last time after showing a bit of promise so a chance is taken on the newcomer STAR POWER. Des McDonagh's charge won three races over 2m on the Flat last summer for Jim Bolger, who still owns him, and this trip should prove ideal on his hurdling debut. Rudolf showed some promise at Navan in January and though beaten when odds-on at Kilbeggan subsequently he may have found the trip too short.
