VASCO DU MEE was running over fences earlier this year but has reverted to hurdles on a lower mark and must have as good a chance as any in a tricky race after his narrow defeat by Allez Vic at Fairyhouse. Easy Vic took an age to lose his maiden tag and that was over fences but his short-head defeat by Day Dream Boy at Fairyhouse in January points to his chances. Abolitionist is just 3lb higher than for his only success over timber so he's on the short-list along with Serra Nova, despite the latter being beaten 10 lengths into second at Cork. Sarah Battle could provide the main threat as she arrives in excellent form having fought off Lite Duties over this trip at Limerick.
