Nicky Henderson sent Cool Macavity over to win this in 2014 without a prior run and that appears to be the plan again. He's only 6lb higher and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him go in again. The Plan Man unseated his rider in this last year and hasn't won subsequently but is still on a 3lb higher mark and his stable companion Voices Of Spring is having his first run in a handicap and hasn't run for over a year. Automated looked a progressive type when runner-up to Ivan Grozny at Aintree and should get into contention while Jessica Harrington's horses are running well and Modem ran very well in a tough Fairyhouse handicap last time. Copy That is improving and can get involved though the vote goes to SHANPALLAS. Charles Byrnes' charge has been running over fences and hasn't performed over hurdles since the 2014 Galway Festival when runner-up to Prince Rudi. He can revert to timber on a 21lb lower mark and there's no better trainer for exploiting that position.
