Verdict

Dinoblue followed her second place in Cheltenham's Grand Annual with a victory at Fairyhouse where she was left clear when today's rival Whiskeywealth fell at the last. She's up 7lb but looks the type to continue on the upgrade though the latter held every chance when coming down so should be thereabouts if none the worse. Grange Walk was there with a chance when falling two out in a Leopardstown handicap and made amends in a Grade B handicap at Gowran. Grand National winning trainer Lucinda Russell sends DOUGLAS TALKING (NAP) over from Scotland. The seven-year-old easily won handicaps at Ayr and Sandown before a superb effort in the Red Rum Handicap at Aintree where he was only headed close home. Brandy Harbour sluiced up at Cork though a 12lb rise makes this much tougher.
