      Verdict

      Myrmidons has to carry a penalty for his course and distance victory in October but there should be more progress from Michael Dods' charge. Melrose Way was unfancied on his debut over 6f at Pontefract but came storming through to get up on the line so the longer trip should be ideal. Lofty hasn't been beaten far in two minor events at Southwell but CRISTAL BREEZE looks the one to be on as he missed the break at Kempton and ran green but came through later. Puzzle may not have been suited by Tapeta at Wolverhampton after a fair debut at Kempton.
