        Verdict

        Dancin Boy ended last season with three narrow defeats, the last two on Tapeta at Newcastle. He's not badly treated for his reappearance though Tucson showed plenty of potential last term and looked certain to be suited by this longer trip when staying on over a mile here last month. MAQAADEER has improved with every run and is another likely to be suited by the extra after two fine runs over a mile on Polytrack. A mark of 72 looks reasonable and he can take this for Ed Dunlop though Marco Botti's Fares Alpha is also lightly raced and a potential improver.
