Poplar Close scrambled home in a Musselburgh maiden before a fair run in a nursery there but this looks a stronger heat. Outrank lost his balance when strongly fancied at Catterick then made no mistake in a Leicester nursery for which a 5lb rise isn't excessive. Strummer has only shown moderate form in maidens and will need to improve on his nursery debut so in a wide-open contest a chance is taken with MYWAY QUEEN, who has improved with each run and wasn't beaten far at Ripon last time.
