      Verdict

Tavener didn't appreciate soft ground when finishing last of five at Ayr and is better than that but Thatcherite is much better over the minimum trip these days. YPRES gained reward for consistency when scoring at Carlisle then dropped back to the minimum at Beverley and never got involved - this is his trip and he can return to winning ways. Ad Vitam would have a chance at his best but he keeps climbing the ratings without winning.
