In depth

Verdict

A small field goes to post for this maiden handicap and the main protagonists look to be Phamedic,Panglossian and Stepastray and we will take a chance on Phamedic. Tim Easterbys charge was a good second on his latest run behind Nadeszhda under similar conditions and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat. Panglossian rates the main danger he is from a yard in top form and he was a fair third behind Fight The Feeling a couple of runs ago but he has not progressed as expected since so for that reason we will oppose him on this occasion. Stepastray is another that will like the ground but her is more exposed than most and is again likely to find one or two to good. Of the remainder T K O Gym is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to stick with Phamedic.
