A maiden that will not take much winning but a chance is taking with BEAUTY PAGEANT ahead of Aleqa and Seven Of Diamonds. The selection is an unraced daughter of Bahamian Bounty who cost £19,000 as a foal. She never seen a race track at two but is bred to be half decent. Further encouragement is taken from the fact that her trainer has a decent strike rate with his three-year-olds and is amongst the winners. Aleqa hails from the Chris Wall yard that does not send many three-year-olds here. In recent years he has had three runners with one of those winning. His daughter of Oasis Dream is also nicely bred and cost connections £50,000 as a foal. She had the one run to date but disappointed in a hot maiden and her trainer has found a weak event for her to go close. Seven Of Diamonds just about has the best form of those who have run and her trainer does well her so is worth considering in a weak event. Royal Record is another to keep an eye in a race where the market will help guide but Beauty Pageant gets the tentative vote.
