Verdict

The penultimate race on the card is another tricky handicap with plenty of runners going to post but AZADAY is the selection ahead of Eeny Mac and Mr Harmoosh. Chris Wall's daughter of Azamour ran nicely behind some decent types when she stayed on nicely under pressure and today's step up in trip is guaranteed to stay. Ted Durcan's mount showed nothing at two but has clearly done well over the winter and races of this nature should not prove beyond her this season. Eeny Mac has showed nice improvement in all three runs this year and if aloud an easy lead he could take some catching. One slight concern is the trip but judging by his pedigree he has every chance of staying. Mr Harmoosh made his handicap debut in a hot handicap for the grade at Epsom three weeks ago and acquitted himself well. The winner of that race has since gone on to score again so if Tim Vaughan's runner improves he will be in the shake up. Buzz Bird was impressive on his latest start but that was on the all weather on today's task is a whole lot different. Others to note are Kanace and Ting Ting but Azaday gets the vote.
