      Verdict

      A small but competitive field gets proceedings under way, Obe Bold, Game Flora and Promenade look the main protagonists. The selection is Promenade who was very impressive on his debut when defeating Ever Cheerful. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and will be hard to beat with Kieren Fallon again taking the ride. Obe Bold rates the main danger he was a game winner last time out when defeating Wavetree Dream but he may struggle to give three pounds and a beating to Promenade. Game Flora was a fair forth on her debut behind Marcus Elie but gave the impression she may be seen to better effect over a longer. Of the remainder Tyne is a well bred sort from a yard in form but may need more time.
