In a tricky handicap, Damika is selected ahead of Angaric and The Terrier, although watch the betting with regard to Choreography. An unlucky-in-running third here last time marks Damika down as a key player today, although a two-pounds rise for that effort seems a little harsh. Charlie Delta has it to prove from his current Turf rating, while Colorus may have been unlucky over course and distance last time but still has six lengths to find with Damika based on that run. A drop in trip from this season's runs could see Angaric go close as he is on a fair mark, while Spiritual Peace is a little hard to assess but this type of going on Turf could see him go well. The jury is out on Welcome Approach now following his modest Carlisle run, while, after having run well against older horses last time, The Terrier looks well enough treated to have a say in proceedings today. Mulligan's Gold has been running well enough from around today's mark to be given some thought, while it is certainly not beyond the realms of possibility that Dandy Nicholls can draw improvement from Choreography on his first try at today's trip. Once again, though, we will give Damika the shout.
