Verdict

Whatever Serena Brotherton rides in these races has to be of interest and Mr Carbonator has managed to win three times, though all have been on the all-weather. Samantha Pugh was on board when Dutch Coed almost gave her a first ever victory on the Flat at Beverley and it would be no surprise to see her mount go one better. Savannah Moon, a winner on soft ground at Pontefract in May, bounced back to life with a fine effort at Nottingham last week and should make a bold bid in a tricky finale. Emily Easterby gets on well with BOLLIN TED (NAP), twice a winner over this trip this summer and back over his best distance after failing over a mile last time. He can get back to winning ways as Grandscape's last run at Wolverhampton was over 1m6f.
