In depth

Verdict

This looks a good opportunity for SPINNING who is taken to get the better of Novellen Lad and Atlantic Story. The selection hails from a yard in good form and he won well when last seen out at Wolverhampton in February. He is returning from a break here but he has gone well fresh in the past and he has course and distance winning form; he also has a good draw so he should run a big race. Novellen Lad won well enough at Catterick last time out over 6f and he will not mind this longer trip, but he has the worst of the draw here which will make life tough. Atlantic Story wasn't beaten far at Thirsk last time but the race hasn't worked out particularly well and the stable are not firing on all cylinders at present. David Nicholls does will with his sprinters and Mujaadel is well drawn so he could represent some each-way value, although he did disappoint at Ripon last time. An open race and the vote goes to Spinning.
