Tim Easterby sent out last year’s winner and runs three with Mahanakhon preferred of that trio despite returning a losing favourite at Leicester. Baryshnikov has done all his winning over further so far and went close over 1m2f at Ripon last time when ahead of Imperial Sands, though the latter may well turn the tables over today’s trip. Spirit Catcher has a shout on his form here last autumn but the progressive WILD SIDE is taken to show further improvement over this extra furlong having completed a double with last month’s success at Catterick.
