    Verdict

Pena Dorada is good yardstick in these staying races but is finding it very hard to gain a first win and while he will be competitive we will turn to DUBAWI KING. Paul Hanagan is booked for the mount by trainer Nigel Tinkler and that may be significant as the championship leader was also on board for the gelding's sole win, which was over 1m 4f at Hamilton in June. He has still to prove his stamina over this far but a first-time visor and his pilot's tactical acumen can do the trick. Tim Easterby has his share of winners here and Beverley scorer Escape Artist stays well and acts on fast ground, so from 2lbs higher he looks a threat. Danceintothelight is interesting now tried at this trip for the first time.
