Verdict
Dancing Phantom,Eight and Compton Emerald look to be the three to concentrate on here, with the former just getting the nod. James Moffatt's eight-year-old appears to be returning to somewhere near his best form, he ran a blinder at Ayr last time when finishing runner up to Nowell House in a very competitive handicap and will appreciate this lesser opposition. Eight will be a major threat, he hasn't been beaten far on his last two ventures on the flat and is still a relatively fresh horse this season. Also worthy of a mention is Gerard Butler's Compton Emerald who lost no caste in defeat when finishing fourth in decent claimer at Goodwood last time. Olivia rose is another expected to run well but the vote goes to Dancing Phantom.
