Summerlea was returning from a very long break when third on heavy going here in March then showed the benefit with a battling victory over two miles at Catterick. He's 5lb higher but looks certain to give a good account. BOWDLER'S MAGIC hasn't won on the Flat for some time but he's been in good form over hurdles and, having won from much higher marks than this in the past, he looks the one to be on. Kiwayu hasn't won since landing a Class 2 handicap at York in 2013 and there's no real evidence a dramatic fall in the ratings is having any effect. Strikemaster is another who hasn't won since 2013 but he produced a couple of fair runs last summer and is back on that winning mark. Symbolist ran a shocker at Pontefract last time and his better effort here previously was on very heavy ground. Frosty The Snowman looks best of the remainder.
