In depth

Verdict

Origintrail suggested he was finding some form last time when fourth at Ascot but needs to back that up as he'd hardly beaten a rival on his previous four runs. Ey Up It's Maggie was a good fifth of 19 in a typically-competitive York sprint nine days ago but stablemate Selby's Pride has been well beaten on both starts this season. Storm Fox is generally consistent, despite disappointing last time, but the ground is a possible concern and though Mrs Trump is reliable, this looks harder than recent assignments. STAR OF LADY M was a beaten favourite at Doncaster on Saturday but it's significant to see her turned out again quickly and an earlier second at York represents the best recent form on offer.

Formwatch

Origintrail (IRE) 14-1 (9-8) Raced keenly, held up in last trio, headway over 1f out, went moderate 4th towards finish, 4th of 7, 4 1/2l behind Woolhampton (9-8) at Ascot 5f hcp fll (4) gs in Jul.

Ey Up It's Maggie 6-1fav (11-10) Handy, pushed along halfway, stayed on same pace, 5th of 19, 4 3/4l behind Soul Seeker (10-12) at York 5f hcp (4) gd in Jul.

Selby's Pride 50-1 (9-6) Steadied start, held up off the pace towards rear, never a factor, 15th of 16, 15 1/4l behind Cairn Gorm (9-9) at York 6f hcp (4) gs in Jul.

Storm Fox (IRE) 7-1 (9-7) Chased leaders in centre group, ridden to challenge over 1f out, faded inside final furlong, 11th of 15, 5 1/2l behind Be Proud (10-0) at Doncaster 6f hcp (5) gd in Jul.

Mrs Trump (IRE) 15-2 (9-1) Handy, pushed along and slightly outpaced over 2f out, stayed on inside last, not reach leader, 2nd of 7, 1 1/4l behind Speedacus (10-4) at Doncaster 5f hcp (5) sft in Jul.

Star Of Lady M 5-2fav (9-11) Tracked leaders, pushed along halfway and switched right, ran on same pace, 4th of 6, 3 3/4l behind Thunder Star (9-4) at Doncaster 5f hcp (5) sft in Aug.
