          Verdict

          College Maid, The Fisio and Polar Force are all in with chances in the finale but Polar Force ran as though returning to form last time and a chance is taken on him to end his long losing sequence. The gelding from the Mick Channon yard caught the eye last time over 6 furlongs at Lingfield when a close third behind Mayzin. He looks well-treated on his return to the turf and as his only ever win has come at this trip he looks to have a great opportunity to regain the winning thread. College Maid would have chances on his best form but he was a little disappointing at Musselburgh last time and he is passed over for that reason. The Fisio ran well in defeat behind Devise at Bath last time and a reproduction of that effort should see him make the frame. Of the remainder, Torrent is fit and more than capable of a big run with a decent apprentice on board, but for the winner we return to Polar Force.
