ENCANTAR has been sent off at 25-1 and 50-1 on her two starts but there appeared to be no fluke about her most recent progressive effort when just nudged out by New Side Road in a valuable Musselburgh conditions event with some well regarded sorts well behind. She's also back against her own sex now and sets a good standard if anywhere near the level she displayed on that occasion. Compel and David's Duchess, from leading yards, appeal as types to improve considerably for their acceptable debut efforts whilst Zeeda and Penny Pot Lane are viewed more as nursery types for the future. The market should assist with expectations surrounding the newcomers, of whom Selina Kyle, Fairy Glade and Newmarket raider Zeebee make most appeal at this stage.
