Verdict

SEAMSTER was beaten only a head off today’s mark in a higher grade sprint at Bath last week. He can go one better in this. Black Grass showed progressive form last year when landing a four-timer and is partnered by a 10lb claimer on his reappearance while course and distance winner, Desert Ace, is also helped by an apprentice’s allowance. Foxtrot Knight has finally returned to a winning mark and went close over 6f here last year while General Alexander won his maiden at the track and should be up to landing a handicap this season off his current mark.
