Verdict
Billy Roberts is upped in class after winning at Beverley while Amadeus Grey has been running well over a mile and steps up in distance along with Stagehand. The latter landed a maiden here recently and further progress looks likely now handicapping but SNOWDON is just preferred. The latter ended last year beaten only a neck over track and trip and having finished third at Newcastle on last month’s reappearance, she may prove good enough in first-time cheekpieces. Dutch Uncle and Briardale failed to cope with a rise in the weights last time having won their penultimate starts while better was expected from Cockalorum at Ayr but he returned a disappointing favourite.
