      Verdict

Serena Brotherton has won this four times in eight years including on Tropical Bachelor in 2014. This time she's on board Itlaaq for Mick Easterby and her mount has now dropped to his lowest ever mark on his 77th start and wears first-time blinkers. Calliope stays further than this which is always a help in a race where the pace is very strong and she'll get a good ride from Emma Sayer while Richard Strauss bounced back to form over a trip too short at Haydock and loves fast ground. Graceful Act was well beaten in this last year and is higher in the weights so a chance is taken on the maiden TRAUTMANN. Rebecca Menzies' charge has performed with credit on good ground on several occasions over this trip and has the bonus of the excellent Joanna Mason in the saddle.
