HARRIS TWEED will relish this step up in trip and is taken to get the better of Laverre with Sheiling the most interesting of the remainder. Willie Haggas has a near one in four strike rate at this venue and boasts a decent level stakes profit which improves for his runners in this age group at the track. Harris Tweed didn't show a great deal on debut for Sir Mark Prescott but he showed considerably more on a relatively quick return to the track when shaping with considerable promise at Wolverhampton. There's a question mark over the fast ground but he's bred to come into his own over a trip this season. Laverre shaped as though she'd improve for her initial experience when running on well after a slow start to finish a never nearer third. She'll appreciate this trip on that evidence and should have the ability to win her maiden. Sheiling is a 40,000 euro purchase from a family that has provided plenty of winners over the years and it will be interesting to see if there's any support for her on debut but preference is for Harris Tweed.
