Verdict
A small but competitive field goes to post for this claimer and the main protagonists look to be Yakimov, Masterpoint and Countykat and we will take a chance on Yakimov. The four year old has been running in much better races of late and a reproduction of his form that saw him defeat Boader Edge at Leicester would make him hard to beat. Masterpoint rates the main danger he won well when defeating Wroot Danielle last time but he will need to improve again to defeat the selection. Countykat is also worthy of consideration on her best form but her best efforts have come over a shorter trip so for that reason she is opposed on this occasion. Of the remainder Thesaurus is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to stick with Yakimov.
