Verdict

Dreadpirateroberts came in for strong support at Brighton a week ago and looked like making all but was caught close home. QANDIL was just under two lengths behind but took an age to warm to her task before finishing well. She's taken to reverse the form and land this. Soul Singer will have come on a bundle for his run at Musselburgh though a bigger threat may emerge in the shape of Pointofblue, whose dam has produced winners with her first two foals to race. The speedily-bred Torvar may prove best of the remainder.
