Verdict

Arqoob won on good ground at Huntingdon before finishing second on a much softer surface at Newbury but was beaten by Imperial Bede at the start of the year. Bertie's Wish is 7lb better off than when beaten just over three lengths by Killaloan at Ludlow. Dancila will appreciate the quicker ground but Milldam probably needs it softer and was a long way behind Holetown Hero at Newton Abbot three weeks ago. Sergeant Wilson has some useful bits of form but this free-going sort might be vulnerable in the closing stages. IBERICO LORD is only a pound worse off than when collaring the more-exposed Beau Balko in the shadows of the post at Stratford. The latter is already a winner here but Nicky Henderson’s improver can confirm running and also get the better of stablemate Under Control, who is 3-4 but has gone up 7lb for winning a Grade 3 fillies’ handicap at Cheltenham nine days ago.
