In depth

Verdict

It's difficult to see past WESTERN VICTORY (NAP), a Listed winner over hurdles who had a nice pipe-opener on the Flat a week ago. She fell on her only start over fences but that was in Grade 2 company and the opposition here is negligible. Famous Day didn't run badly after a long break in a Tramore handicap but is on a long losing run and Rapid Response looks more of a threat as she's shown potential over timber and was always likely to do better over fences. Aunt Eileen was engaged at Cork yesterday.
