In depth

Verdict

FREEWHELIN DYLAN, winner of the Midlands National at Cork, can race from a 27lb lower mark back over hurdles and his rider lightens his load by a further 7lb. He's never won over hurdles but won't get a better chance. Tiger Twenty Two scored over this trip at Bellewstown before finding 2m4f too short here next time while Top Of The Charts won four of his last five races last year and will have come on for last month's run over fences. William Of Wykeham absolutely sluiced home in a very poor Ballinrobe maiden for which he's been raised 14lb, though the way that he won suggests there could be much more to come.
