Verdict
Antelope Canyon, a half-brother to six winners, has been beaten a long way on both starts and it's difficult to make a case out for him. Escondida did nothing wrong when just failing to hold off Henshaw over this track and trip with a long odds-on chance in third. That form should be good enough to get him into the frame though he's looking exposed and HARAZ may have his measure. Mick Halford's colt made an eye-catching debut behind Air Vice Marshall at Gowran and, with that under his belt, looks the one to be on. Waipu Cove has run better than his form figures indicate and the longer trip will be in his favour.
