In depth

Verdict

Baily Green's run in the novice chase earlier on the card should be a pointer to the chances of LAGANBANK in this. Willie Mullins' charge, who beat subsequent Grade 1 winner Alderwood over hurdles last year, found Mouse Morris' gelding too strong on his chasing bow over C&D but should make no mistake this evening. It will be interesting to see if Queen Of Cool can reproduce her run at Ballinrobe last month but Margaret Mullins' Cairdin is probably a better long-term prospect. Old Supporter, Sea Diamond and The Ballacolla Man have all won between the flags and are worth noting for future reference.
