Verdict

This is a bit of a head-scratcher to end with but GEORGE BAKER, aptly trained by his namesake, looks to have stronger claims than most. He's only a pound higher than when beaten a head at Kempton in March, is well drawn and has the excellent Serena Brotherton to do the steering. King Columbo was second off a higher mark at Epsom in August and has form here while top weight Grand Piano has been knocking on the door on Polytrack over the winter. With Mr Udagawa now a doubtful runner, Isabel Tompsett has now switched to Tuscan King who would also have each-way claims on his best form.
