        Verdict

        Holly Rose did not have to be at her best to win a seller last time and may find things tougher here so the vote goes to the progressive Debbie, who gets the verdict over Shush. The last mentioned was all out to win at Chepstow two starts ago and, while far from disgraced behind Kelpie at Newbury last time, appears in the grip of the handicapper now. That does not appear to be the case with the selection, who followed up her comfortable success at Newmarket at the beginning of August with a similarly cosy success at Lingfield next time. Unlucky in running at Leicester recently, Debbie is taken to return to winning ways here. Bluegrass Boy showed improved form when chasing home Liquid Form at Kempton on his first start to two months last time and is another to consider, along with Perfidious although the steadier of 9st 12lb may be enough to stop him. Warwick winner Anyhow and the consistent Absinther are others worthy of a mention but we are happy to side with Debbie, who gets the vote.
