In depth

Verdict

Rehearsed just gets the decision in a wide open finale, Love Always and Brief Goodbye are also worthy of respect. The selection can be forgiven her last run at Nottingham as she stumbled at the start and was never seen with a chance after that. Her previous effort when chasing home Squadron over course and distance stands out as decent form and she looks the one to be on this afternoon. Love Always also put in a poor run last time out but better judged on her previous run behind Mister Right at Newbury. Meanwhile Brief Goodbye comes into the argument on his last outing when not beaten far in abetter race at Sandown. The pick of the others could be Squadron but Rehearsed can be expected to reverse the form with that rival today and in doing so land first prize.
