Verdict
In this contest, we like the look of Ocean Gift ahead of Maghazi, North Shore and Downland. Ocean Gift's form look solid, rating at around the high 80s mark, and that looks enough to be playing a leading part in this maiden race. His most recent effort saw him finish second in a Newmarket maiden. With his stable in good form Maghazi can go well. He also comes into this in good form, having finished second on the all-weather at Lingfield. The Turf should provide no problem and he can go well. North Shore's Sandown third to Vanadium in a handicap last time off a mark of 76 is solid enough, and he also finds his way onto the list of possibles. Of the others, Samarai and Self Discipline are surely better than they have so far shown and Downland has to be of interest from the John Dunlop stable. Overall, though, we will stick with Ocean Gift.
