Verdict
John Dunlop's In The Lead should improve for being stepped up in trip but may ideally want a softer surface and preference is for Raze, with the four-year-old Prairie Oyster rated the best of the remainder. The selection represents the powerful stable of Sir Michael Stoute and should appreciate the step up to middle distance having been outpaced in decent company over seven furlongs on her only start as a juvenile. John Gosden's Petticoat Hill was well held on her only previous start on the all-weather but is bred to do better on turf, while Obvious Charm represents the yard of Roger Charlton that can do little wrong at present. Luca Cumani's Sohgol has given little sign of encouragement so far and of more interest may be David Elsworth's Prairie Oyster, who may appreciate the return to further having found six furlongs too sharp on her return. Raze is an unexposed filly from a decent yard though and she is preferred.
