Crown of Medina could hardly have been more impressive when making a winning start to his handicap career at Lingfield last month and is taken to defy his 5lb rise in the weights at the main expense of Cree and Tapa. The last mentioned has not progressed as much as expected from her reappearance success at Folkestone and may want a softer surface. Edge of Blue looks to be the pick of Richard Hannon's two runners ahead of Sir Bluebird, while Colonel Bilko has not been beaten far in any of his three races this term and has to be respected under Alan Munro. Bodden Bay has held his form well on the all-weather this winter but has yet to prove that he is as effective on turf and of more interest may be Willie Muir's Cree, who showed improved form at Bath last time and should not mind the return to six furlongs. Crown Of Medina won with plenty in hand at Lingfield though and there should be no reason why Walter Swinburn's gelding cannot reproduce the form back on turf.
