Verdict
Desert Cross beat a subsequent winner at Bath but this would be his minimum trip and he’s 4lb higher. Multigifted won twice over 1m4 last year but that was on soft ground and Michael Madgewick’s mare is another who is more effective over a bit further. Outofthequestion steps up in trip but appears to have improved a little over the winter and a first victory can’t be far away. ABLAZE (NAP) came good again over course and distance last month and appeared to have a bit in hand. The handicapper hasn’t over-reacted and Laura Mongan’s filly can follow up.
